Valiant adds new Account Manager Jennifer Rentis

Valiant has added Jennifer Rentis as a new account manager. Valiant, a workers’ compensation wholesale brokerage arm providing extensive market access, specializes in harder-to-place risks and multi-state accounts. Currently they are licensed in 13 states.

Rentis brings to Valiant eight years of experience in account management roles, from underwriting to account servicing and renewals. She has worked for several San Diego-area insurance agencies, specializing not only in Workers’ Compensation but also in contractors’ coverage.

Prior to moving to Valiant, Rentis led the customer service department at a San Diego-area agency, where she helped create and implement service procedures. Earlier she was an assistant account manager for Hub International Insurance Services, specializing in contractors for middle market policies. 

At Valiant, Rentis will serve as account manager which entails brokering new business, servicing the renewal book and managing internal procedures. She will also be involved in both marketing and agency and carrier relationships at Valiant. Currently Valiant represents 12 workers compensation carriers rated “A” by A.M. Best.

“Jen will work with the team to expand our strategic alliances with underwriting companies and general agencies,” said Robert Young, vice president. “We’re looking to add other casualty coverage lines in the near future. We’re also looking at a new technology platform to better serve our agents and carriers.”
